VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Legacy of Def Jam Records

Hip-hop stars, both new and old, celebrate the legacy of Def Jam Records at the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

VH1.com: “VH1’s Hip Hop Honors 2009 is the first time the show will be honoring a record label. Host Tracy Morgan and a slew of superstar performers and presenters will be celebrating the incredible legacy of Def Jam Recordings. Over the last quarter-century Def Jam has led a cultural movement that has changed the world.”

The VH1 Hip Hop Honors 2009 broadcast will premiere on VH1 on Tuesday, October 13 at 9PM ET/PT.*

Worldwide Premiere of ‘Michael Jackson’s This Is It’ On October 27

Documentary will be screened simultaneously in 15 cities around the globe.

Michael Jackson will continue to make history: MTV News reports that before the Michael Jackson documentary is available to the general public on October 28 for a two-week run, it will first hit theaters on October 27, where it will premiere simultaneously in more than 15 cities around the world.
